2. Service Overview:



Confidential DNA Services provides mobile DNA testing services for ancestry, health insights, and family connections.  The testing process, results, and any related services are subject to these terms and conditions.



3. Privacy and Security:



We prioritize the privacy and security of your genetic data.  Your information is handled with confidentiality, and access is controlled as outlined in our Privacy Policy.  By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.



4. Scheduling and Appointments:



To use our mobile DNA testing services, you must schedule an appointment through our website or contact our customer service.  We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances.



5. Payment and Fees

:

Payment for our services is due at the time of scheduling.  Confidential DNA Services reserves the right to change pricing or introduce new fees.  All services are 100% non-refundable. 



6. Test Results:



Results will be provided through our secure mobile app, secured encryption end to end email platform.  Confidential DNA Services is not responsible for the interpretation of results.  Consultation with a qualified healthcare professional is recommended for a thorough understanding of health-related information.


7. Intellectual Property:



All content and materials provided by Confidential DNA Services, including but not limited to logos, text, and graphics, are the property of Confidential DNA Services and are protected by intellectual property laws.



8. Limitation of Liability:


Confidential DNA Services, its employees, or affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to health-related information.



9. Governing Law:



These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maryland.  Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maryland. 



10. Changes to Terms and Conditions:



Confidential DNA Services reserves the right to modify or replace these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check for updates. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

By using Confidential DNA Services, you agree to these terms and conditions.  

11. Same Day Appointment Fees

● Urgency Fee: A same-day appointment can be arranged for an additional fee of $75.00, subject to availability.

● Booking Window: Same-day appointments must be booked at least 5 hours in advance. Requests made after 1:00 PM may incur an extra fees.

● Availability: Same-day appointments are not guaranteed and are based on the availability of staff and resources.

● Payment: The urgency fee must be paid in full at the time of booking.

12. Additional Parties

● Base Fee Coverage: The base testing fee includes up to two parties (e.g., one alleged, father and one child).

● Additional Party Fee: For each additional party (e.g., another child, mother, etc.), an extra fee of $100.00 will be applied.

● Group Discounts: Discounts may be available for testing more than three additional parties. Contact our office for a customized quote.

● Documentation: All parties must provide valid identification and consent forms before testing.

13. Refund Policy:

● Refund Eligibility: Refunds are available if a cancellation request is received at least 72 hours before the scheduled appointment.

● Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of the request.

● Non-Refundable Fees: Same-day appointment fees, mileage fees, and any lab processing fees are non-refundable.

● Partial Refunds: If testing has commenced but not completed, no refund may be issued for services already rendered.

5. Cancellation Policy:

● Standard Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid any penalties.

● Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24-48 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee of $100.00.

● No-Show Policy: Failure to appear for an appointment without prior cancellation will result in the full charge of the service fee, and no refunds will be issued.

Rescheduling:

 Appointments can be rescheduled once without penalty if notice is given at least 48 hours in advance.
